Methodology

The interval

Copy latency runs from the leader fill reaching Edgeable to the follower order being sent. It covers Edgeable picking up the fill, working out each follower's order (multipliers and caps) and sending that order to the follower's broker.

How the figure stays current

The median is live-reported from real copied orders, not a one-off lab test. It's updated at the end of each day from the copies Edgeable actually sent.

Last updated: the date loads from our stats service.

Why a median

We report a median because a handful of unusually slow or fast orders don't move it much. That makes it a fair picture of a typical order. It doesn't describe every order.

What it doesn't include

  • How long your leader order takes to fill in the first place.
  • The follower broker receiving, acknowledging and filling the order, which depends on the broker and the market.
  • Delays in your own charting or trading platform.

Why your numbers may differ

Latency depends on your brokers, platforms, market conditions, how busy things are and the network in between. Orders can be delayed, rejected or filled differently across accounts. Treat ~35ms as a measured median, not a promise for any single order.
